The Discovery Institute has its story on what people here have called the anti-panda's thumb.

Wow, with that video news program it looks like they almost just put the WorldNet Daily story (http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=42241) on the teleprompter.
Hmm, I wonder if there is any chance that the Rebecca Keller in the story is this Rebecca Keller (http://www.intelligentdesignnetwork.org/2004symposium.htm):

Science Education in Public Schools:
* Science in the classroom - What do we teach the children? (Biophysical Chemist and Author of Real Science 4-Kids, Rebecca Keller, PhD)
Check the google search for various ID articles etc. written by Rebecca Keller (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-47,GGLD:en&q=Rebecca+Keller+New+Mexico)

It's not censorship because there was no government control involved...idiot
Plain and simple: ID is pseudo science.

Wait just a second here. Was not this person presented in the story as a mere citizen? If she is professionally affliated with an ID organization, then I would say we have found just grounds for saying that this is deception pure and simple. Does anyone think for one second of you was presented as some concerned citizen and not as a part of the NCSE and/or someone who has has long been active in opposing creationism and written articles attacking it that the DI would not immediately put out a press release, etc. pointing it out?
Look at Dr. Keller's page at UNM (http://chemistry.unm.edu/faculty/rkeller.cfm). It has got to be the same person. How many Rebbeca Kellers who are professional chemists who are involved with anti-evolutionary activies can their be?
You might strongly consider putting in a note in the Panda's Thumb on this.

Meanwhile, here is the latest for the DI:
Today the station manager, Chad Davis, is claiming that it is a lie that PBS.org sells the video. It isn't a lie that the video was available on the PBS.org and ShopPBS.org websites up until yesterday. Suddenly, PBS is joining their affiliate in an effort to censor science. (Calls to PBS for comment have been ignored.)
Anyone know if Mr. Davis really said this? Well if he did, he certainly f---ed up and should retract that statment.

It sounds like the DI has been regularly harassing the PBS station in New Mexico, who knows what the truth is.
I do know that this isn't the first time that New Mexicans for Science and Reason (http://www.nmsr.org) and IDNet-New Mexico have had a go-around about Unlocking and KNME.
NMSR appear to be the folks that know what is going on:
