Do you have a "recovery story?"

I've read many accounts of people who were taken in by "evil cults" later to escape and rejoin god's flock.

I'm wondering if there are any here who were once Christian but are now atheist who might have a story to tell about how they abandoned Christianity, as well as their stance now on Christianity.
