The kentucky doctor, David Hagar who sits on the FDA advisory panel for reproductive something or other, was the guy who wrote the minority opinion to stop the "Plan B" contraceptive from being sold over the counter.
He gave a sermon at a church, he's a huge xian fundie, advisor to Dobson, and Bush, where he admitted his decision was basically all Jesus driven.
Now in an article in The Nation magazine his wife comes clean on his marital rape and their divorce (http://www.thenation.com/docprint.mhtml?i=20050530&s=mcgarvey) .

Assholes like this just keep getting higher and higher in our government, more and more control. 24 out of 27 members of the panel voted to approve Plan B, but the FDA ignored it's own panel recommendations to vote against it, due to this wife-raping sodomizing hypocrite who has the ear of the president.
