Ah! What a wonderful country we live in, being able to express ourselfs freely, our religious beliefs without being persecuted by the government! Ah how wonderful it is to live in a christian society where there is only trustworthieness occuring. IT feels great knowing that you can trust ALL your christians Brothers of the church in christ! Knowing that they will accept non-christians into their schools, because they are open-minded and accepting of others! Again, back to freedom of religious expression, of course GOD ORDAINED! Ah the Foundation of our Country on christian principles! The staff at Christian schools not being involved in money scandles between the superintendant and the pastor. Ah how accepting they are, not accusing any one of being a pervert ( Pedophile ) because a 16 yr old likes to hug toddlers and like to hug him back (while the headmaster gives them candy if they go into his office). Ahh what a wonderful christian society we live in. Surely this is (slaps hand on desk) GOD'S WILL :notworthy

Ever try the alternative?,
like Russia during the atheists communists rule,
it worked great for about 50 yrs.
A nice little hell on earth....without freedom of anything, let alone choice.
I was in the FSU 3 yrs ago, they still keep a few steam powered telephones around , for tourists to laugh at.
It took a heart of stone NOT to laugh.
US technology and capitalism are based upon the freedoms and rights granted by our Creator. Not by man.

My mama and daddy created me a little over 43 years ago when they had fun in the sack one stormy night, but i don't think they granted me much freedom. They were more about spankings when i misbehaved, We didn't talk much about rights. And I don't hold them responsible for the state of technology in our country or capitalism in the world, either.
Or did you mean Santy Claus? I'm beginning to doubt his existance! I might not get any good presents for christmas this year  Santy Claus is all about good technology, so he in fact might be responsible for the state of technology in the world today.

Except for all those Buddhists and Jains who don't believe in a Creator, right? Oh, wait, maybe he did grant them rights; after all, he's going to burn them in Hell for not loving him back, right? So, why should he care about a few measly rights for a group of people he made just to torture forever later on?
You know, I think if the God of the Bible were real, and then stripped of his divinity, but kept his personality and apetites, we'd've locked his psychotic ass up a long, long time ago.
