This thread has been set up for a formal debate between Duck! and One8seveN who will debate the following resolution:

Resolved: "On September 11, 2001, Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon."

Duck! will affirm and One8seveN will oppose. The debate will have 4 rounds and Duck! will go first, per the parameters ( http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showpost.php?p=3058393&postcount=53). A special debate format includes variable word limits depending on the round.

A Peanut Gallery (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=152701) is set up in the Science & Skepticism forum for the rest of us to comment on the debate.

The grace period has passed and since Duck!'s a no-show, I'm afraid that I will have to declare a forfeit. One8seveN will have the opportunity to post a statement if he wishes to. After that, this thread will be closed.
