Philosophy be damned (for a minute) what are your religious and spiritual convictions or lack thereof?
I asked the gender question. Now would like to know what philosophers believe in the spiritual side of the equation. Am not interested in arguments pro or con, just in a nutshell what you practice or do not practice?
Myself?
My spiritual values are based as a Christian - Buddhist - Taoist - Agnostic for the most part, but I also use a few tools from Islam and some other spiritual traditions.
What does that mean??
I practice certain Christian and Buddhist ideals in my life. But due to the history of the church and Buddhism mucking up their past, one cannot prove or disprove many of their claims or the historicity of Jesus and all the rest. But what we can do is look towards principles and not personalties for some relief...so I try to focus on actions and not personalties.
