Religion has such a positive effect on people, doesn't it?

Well, they do say that violent films make you more prone to violence... I guess violent Chistian films make Christians violent.

Mrs Watson said: “I had bought The Passion of the Christ on DVD that day and we started watching it. . . argued. . . .The Devil was in the house that night. . . . . It was the devil that made him do that.”

So... the POTC DVD is the Devil?

I guess even religion can't help you if you're psycho! (Although it appears his wife knew how to use it on him.) That guy needs to learn a thing or two about anger management. But no! Instead he says "The devil made me do it! :devil3: "

After a while Michael got upset because of the way Jesus’s Crucifixion was portrayed. He pulled the leads from the back of the television in anger and went upstairs.

I really have to wonder how people like this think that crucifixions actually worked. Did he think they were all cute and cuddly, so that Jesus could start quoting Psalms, chatting with the guy on the next cross and generally talking to the audience?

Reality check here folks: He would have shit himself. He would have urine all over his legs. His stomach would have distended. There would be flies maggots and other insects all over his body, and exploring his nostrils, mouth, anus, ears and the holes where he was nailed (if in fact he was nailed)

How could a Christian simply not understand what used to happen during these events? Gee, not a bit like the nice looking warm and fuzzy cross at the Church.

It's a snuff film. I'm quite sure that actually SEEING a depiction of what they've glossed over all these years is likely to severely upset any number of believers.
