Benedict repeated criticism of the Prophet Mohammad by the 14th century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus, who is recorded as saying that everything Mohammad brought was evil "such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached". In other news, the Pope blames secularism for war, pestilence, famine, and his aunt's gout, and no one in the press says a @#$%ing thing.

Somebody should remind the hypocrite about his own religion's bloody history Was Charlemagne Catholic? Or the Conquistadores?

They need to get in line. It took Galileo several centuries for his apology.
