Nietzsche believed Nihilism would ultimately destroy moral, religious, and metaphysical convictions and would be the worst crisis in human history. What if you replace the word Nihilism in that sentance with Christianity. Seeing how christianity has evolved to the point it is at now, would it be to much to infer that christians would do just those things? Why not? Christians believe If you are not with them, you are against them! (Even the undecided?) A nihilist wouldn't believe in anything, have no loyalties, and no goals, except, perhaps, and impulse to destroy. Sounds like christianity to me. Believe in nothing (other than god), have no loyalties (other than to god), no goals (other than god's) and destroy (only the godless).

Have you read "Der Antichrist", by Nietzche?
It is about something much like your post.

But what did Nietzsche say the consequences would be of this worst crisis in human history? It seems like you're saying Nietzsche said people would start killing and destroying. Is that correct? I think this crisis has already started but it'll take a long time to see its effects.
