A documentary on a camp for fundy christian kids was recently released. apparently it trains them to become "Warriors for Jesus"

BBC video article:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/help/3681938.stm

This is the review I found on the IMDB entry-
"GO SEE THIS MOVIE!! Yes, I am yelling! Jesus Camp is a great movie. It is starting to open people up to a dialogue about "religion" and this country like no other film has in recent years. The children are enjoyable, funny and totally devoted to what they are saying in this film. They are normal children who have found something to give their lives to. I have read some people saying they wish they had as much faith in something in their own personal lives. A movie that provokes that kind of thinking in people is worth the money and time. Go see it and judge for yourself.

While not every Christian will agree with everything in this film, every Christian will find something in it that they do agree with. "Liberals" will get angry, and maybe even scared. They should--these kids will be a powerful force when they grow up, in deed, they are a powerful force now."

What the hell is this???
"Liberals" (in quotes" getting scared?

Has anyone else heard of this? hopefully it falls flat on its stupid fundy face. (10 points for alliteration:p )

I myself had mentioned a review of that movie in "Jesus Camp" (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=179938) -- I noticed some very bizarre praise of that movie.

There've been several threads on that movie; I wonder if some of them are worth merging.

I will be interested in watching the programme when it becomes available in the UK. This kind of thing could only happen in America. The emotionalism, psychological manipulation and total brainwashing is scary to behold. What will these children be like in 20 years? The charismatic/pentecostal element just makes it worse. Charismatic Christians are often the greatest crackpots around.
