I dunno if people here have seen it or not yet, but I was looking through RR for a good laugh, and found this.
I don't want to give too much away, but the guy who sinks down and is crying at the end...it disturbs me that anybody could actually believe in this, let alone WANT this to happen.
What kind of sick, twisted diety would do that to his supposed "children"? Thats like telling your 4 year old, "No, you've been bad, so we're leaving you home alone while we and your sisters and brothers are all going to Disney World for a month."
I'd ask what kind of horrible people would want this, but since I got this from the RR boards, I have a feeling I already know.

I didn't read the whole OP before watching, so I thought this was a parody. Laughed my ass off as the loud noise startled the churchgoers (and my cat). Waited for the smart-alek punchline at the end ... only to realize that this is serious. Wow. :(

The lightning startled me. I guess the video is good for getting their irrational, implausible, completely unsupported, and even ahistoric belief across.

I actually envisioned that happening to me when I was a kid. The church we went to was into the whole Jewish/Christian fusion thing big time. One year, there was a special celebration of Rosh Hashanah (Christian style) where everyone was absolutely convinced that Jesus was coming back. At the time (I think I was 13 or 14), I was still a Christian, and was somewhere between skeptical and scared shitless. Everyone dressed in white, but fortunately there was no actual cool-aid.

Pathetic. They should have hired someone who could act. I guess the guy at the end couldn't really get into the role. After all, it is pretty unbelievable! :)

Reminds me a bit of that old seventies poster about what to do in the event of a nuclear attack; the last two steps were
-Bend over, place head firmly between legs
-Then kiss your ass goodbye.

Laughing my arse off. I guess the camera-operator(s) didn't have enough faith...someone was nice enough to step over to that young man and not bother with a camera support.

Matthew 24:27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Well, shite... Storms in my area come from the southwest and move to the northeast, so I guess I'll miss the show...

Maybe the guy in the red shirt is weeping with joy. "They're finally gone! I don't have to listen to this crap anymore! The chick in the white T-shirt is so hot, and now there's less competition! I'm just so happy!"

I.... dont...know what to say!
This whole end times thing in itself is bloody, nasty and voilent and im shocked that people even want it to happen. No im not shocked, i know its primal human nature to enjoy the bloody, voilent nastiness (or the idea of the nastiness). But... still...

I'm not sure weather I should laugh or cry. Every time I think human stupidity can't amaze me any more I see something like this. So I promptly changed my winamp to tATu (http://www.tatugirls.com/) - Perfect Enemy and now I'm going to go read this (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=180270) thread because its making MUCH more sense now.
LOL While I was writing this the next song to come up was Aimee Allen - Revolution... Sigh... Owe the irony...

More of them. (http://www.pottershouse.com/downloads_drama.asp)
Awesome Weekend is a lot more complicated, so there's more stuff to laugh at. Are they putting on fake accents? (Okay, no, they're just bad actors.)
