Here's my score:
Your rating on science vs. non-science: 10
Your rating on progress for humankind: 0
Your position on the worldview spectrum: (0,10)
They didn't list anyone I was close to, though.

I'm only 8,10. :( Hum. I do wonder why they have Pat Robertson as more anti-science than bin Laden? Also, ti seems to me that these two quantities are not really orthogonal, there's clearly a strong correlation.

I know, I know! Because bin Laden uses high-tech bombs and planes and shit, while Robertson only bombs out on (relatively) low-tech TV!

I don't think the ideal future should be the human race to thrive and move away from the planet. The ideal future would be that all humans would just die off. All of them. Every single one. Preferably by a giant comet, since they don't seem to be doing a good job at it.
I'd rather see everyone die than the people still suffer. Thus, I can't be a 10 on the progress part.

(9,10) I'm unique!
I assume this is because I answered one of the "God" questions by assuming that a Lovecraftian deity is plausible.
3,4
Looks like my assumption is correct. I think the test is only asking a bunch of political "acid test" questions* without real consideration for the deeper opinions of people.
*Is there a word for this? There must be one.
Also, the dimensions obviously aren't independent.

if it doesn't work: 10, 10 here, as so many others

I refuse to submit my answers, even though I believe I have chosen all the "correct" ones and would have earned the [10,10] score. The quiz is filled with loaded questions, with an implication that the atheist, utilitarian point of view is the correct one, and I consider it useless.

Mike Rosoft,
I agree with you... Whoever devised the "test" apparently made a couple assumptions that are way off base. The first is that a theist can not understand and appreciate science - I know several quite good scientists who are theists although I am certainly not one of them. The second is that humanity can only be advanced through collectivism - world history says otherwise.

While I agree that the quiz is, for all practical purposes, useless, I disagree that the questions are "loaded" or imply that the "atheist, utilitarian point of view is the correct one." The same sort of questions could be asked, and have been, with the scoring reversed, in a "How Spiritual Is Your Worldview" quiz (e.g., "What is your worldview (http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=23320)*" (for me, 100% match with "Materialist") and "What Religion do you fit in with? (http://www.quizgalaxy.com/quiz.php?id=47)" (for me, "Atheist" (well, duh) ) and leave you with the feeling that they were "loaded" in favor of a theistic outlook when your results came out (to quote Mrs. Betty Bowers (http://www.bettybowers.com/)' famous song) "You're going straight to Hell (http://www.bettybowers.com/christian_music.html)."

The problem with quizzes with underlying assumptions from a specific POV is that some of the questions are meaningless to someone coming from a different POV. That's how I felt with some of the questions in the quizzes ninewands linked to.

Every time I take one of these tests I score very close to the Dalai Lama.
Does that make me some sort of freak?

Yes especially the one entitled "what religious view do you fit in with".
Numerous questions there make assuptions that invalidate any response I'd make and give only 2 options - neither of which I agree with. For example "Do you believe in evolution or creation". What if I believe we've always been here?
Or better yet "Do you believe that redemption lies in your own hands or in that of a God"? Um... Redemption? I don't believe in redemption at all and the question is assuming that I do. Its a faulty quiz.
My favourite question from it is "Do you plan to recant on your death bed?". Think they ever get a "yes" to that? Stupid stupid question.

The quiz is crap because it assumes that being religious equals being anti-science, which is BS, most religious people I know arn't creationist nutjobs or Deepak Copra clones. I know tons of people at my university who are both religious and pro-science, basically seeing faith and empirical knowledge as independent of one another.

I also disliked the question about being able to predict my future thoughts, I think that both my husband and I could predict my future thoughts at least roughly about any given subject. At least I hope so, he's my designated person to decide about my future if I'm ever incapacitated.

Just for fun I put in the answers I would thank Vladimir Lenin would give. Guess what his rating came out to be.
ETA:
Just went back and tried how I thought Jimmy Carter would answer. It would be frightening if I thought this quiz actually had any meaning.
Oh, BTW Lenin came out near Carl Sagan (Should show how inane this quiz is.)
