The last paragraph is just amazing - religious insanity truly doesn't get much wackier than that...

Christians who oppose homosexuality need to be reminded that the Bible does not consider one sin to be worse than another. The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. It just so happens that by some estimates, over 95% of the non-Christians in the world are already HETEROSEXUALS. For about 90% of the time since the founding of Christianity, most Christians endorsed slavery, colonization and the subjugation of women. The largest colonial empire in history by far under a single religion was conquered by Christian nations by means of persecution, murder, and theft of property. How many Christian opponents of homosexuality are on the warpath about that? Jesus said that divorce is a sin except in cases of adultery. In the U.S., Baptists have a higher divorce rate than atheists do. In Denmark, heterosexuals have a higher divorce rate than homosexuals do. Christian opponents of homosexuality are best advised to take a look at their own lives before they start to criticize other people. They can start by selling more of their assests and supporting missions. If the Bible is true, Christians will not derive any eternal benefits from earthly goods and pleasures, so I wonder why so many Christians place such great importance on earthly goods and pleasures, including watching lots of sports events, taking vactions, and trying to ensure that they have plenty of money for their retirements.
Showing love towards people is much more effective than attacking them. Outspoken, aggresive Christian opponents of homosexuality are seriously limiting increases in the number of people who become Christians, so in a way, their attacks are a good thing for skepticism. Years ago, Jerry Fallwell, who by the way is a proven liar (a court trial proved that), founded an organization that was called The Moral Majority. It attacked all sorts of sins and stressed the important of morality, in spite of the fact that many non-Christians are more moral than the typical Christian is. All that the organization did was stir up a lot of hatred. Fallwell humiliated and embarrassed himself.
Wherever you go in the world, no matter what the religion, fundamentalists are usually trouble. Religious fundamentalists are under attack all over the world, including by many of the followers of their own religions. The growing worldwide army of skeptics and liberal religious people, including continuing advances in science and education, will ensure that within 100 years, religious fundamentalists will no longer be a serious political threat to the world.
Regarding what the Bible writers said about homosexuality, it is interesting to note that there is not any credible evidence that they spoke for God and not for themselves. Regarding the absurd notion that the Bible is inerrant, even if the original Bible was inerrant, which writings comprised it? No one knows.
