The lightshow is amazing, but your microwave will smell for quite a while.
I recommend using one of the many AOL CDs you probably have laying around. They're plentiful and very disposable.

The plasma is a good one. Anyone want to explain to this non chemist what is actually happening there?
Jeremy Clarckson nuked a bunch of stuff on his show from fairy lights and bulbs etc, to intact eggs and then IIRC the season finale was an ounce or two of semtex.
