Secret is a scam where they tell you basic self-realization crap at a low, low asking price. Just $5 to start and then another $10 occasionally as a booster! Why no, this is Scientology . . . why do you ask?

Our friend here wants us to acknowledge God, something which people like me will never do, too enlightened for that.

Peering in on any 'The Secret' bulletin/message board, one will find lots of followers trying very, very hard to affirm their wishes but not receiving much. (doesn't stop their allegiance, tho)
Same stuff as Abraham-Hicks (Abraham being an entity or group of entities who speak through Ms. Hicks). Magic genie, that universe. If one thinks the though, 'sends the energy out' and doesn't receive a match, it's not the universe's fault, one must have sent mixed messages.
Zzzzzz...

Yep. Anything useful in "The Secret" can be found in a basic introductory cognitive psychology text, with the further benefit of cited research. The rest is just new age pap.
