Tell me, believers, what has God done? How do you know?

Whatever the [Bible, Quran, Torah, Vedic texts, oral traditions] claim. We know these actions are true because they are written down and talked about as true in the [Bible, Quran, Torah, Vedic texts, oral traditions].
This is such a valid argument, no one dare refute it.

God has seperated Himself from us; How can you tell? Because He is not here.
God has imprisoned us in bodies (some of us anyway.)
God has us jumping thru hoops. (what is this, some kind of circus?)

God did not buy me a burrito. This I know. I bought my own damn burrito. I always have.
God did not impregnate virgins, walk on water, or rise from the dead. It's a bunch of legendary hocus pocus. This too I know.
God did not stop Katrina, or the Lisbon earthquake. This I know.
In fact, I believe that God has never done anything for mankind and never will.
Now, God may well exist, but if God does exist, God is not anything like what you find in the Abrahamic scriptures. Except to the extent that they acknowledge "divine hiddenness." For they too know that they are all buying their own damn burritos.

In the context of "Many Mansions" I suppose I chose this place and all the baggage that goes with it over some other choices.

Not only that, Peter Kirby,
but humans endured...
through utmost despair,
into the darkness of night...
And breathed deep
the betraying stench of the dead,
for their generators were lost...
as their kind were dissolving
Have I seen the blue eyed baby from the Water's Edge?
Come, I will take you to her place
"the waves came in and the people went out"
I'm so sorry...wait here for the truck.
And we moved on,
plucked the drowned children from the water,
covered the naked caught in their stare, unaware...
and fed the unwashed masses
Until we fell onto the wet floor, shield and sword at our side.
Good night?

The truth will set you free...
...and put you on the path to simplicity.
We should ever act, because it is the right thing for us to do.
There is always hope.
