BHUBANESWAR, India (Reuters) - An Indian woman accused of witchcraft was beaten, gagged and burnt to death in a remote eastern village, police said on Friday.

Superstitious tribals burn witches. Superstitious urbans only want to burn witches. :p

Educated people who believe in superstition aren't likely to do this. Tribals are. Actually, most educated in India dont believe in witchcraft anyhow.

In the USA you would be surprised how many Christians still do. Especially in my area the South!

Actually, most educated in India dont believe in witchcraft anyhow.It is unfortunate, but educated Indians believe in astrology, palmistry, omens, ghosts, exorcists, voodoo (Indian variety), spells, horoscopes, and even sacrifice.
Godmen aided by politicians and police engage in money laundering. They are partners in sexual crimes. Shameful but true.
