Welcome to the Secular Lifestyle Forum. Secular Lifestyle is for discussion and support of the secular lifestyle--only. Theists (and anyone else regardless of beliefs) are welcome to offer constructive secular advice. We are asking that only secular* lifestyle threads and secular* support threads be posted in this forum. All off-topic threads will be moved to one of the other forums. Users are expected to follow the Rules|Registration Agreement and Statement of Purpose (http://iidb.infidels.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=235594) and if you have any questions then please contact a forum moderator or see Questions, Problems, Complaints & Suggestions (http://iidb.infidels.org/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=16).

General Guidelines

For the purposes of this forum we are defining "secular" as pertaining to non-theism, not simply lacking religious content.
Do not proselytize, preach, witness, promote or defend a theistic viewpoint; such posts are unwelcome here and heavy-handed moderation will be applied.
And finally, if you are a parent, check out The Parent's Corner (http://www.infidels.org/families/parents/index.shtml) for helpful resources.IIDB acknowledges the contributions of pescifish and AquaVita

Support Threads - Please Read Before Posting

Two support forums are currently available at IIDB. Secular Lifestyle, which deals specifically with secular lifestyle support and The Lounge which deals with all other forms of support.

Before starting a support thread, please ensure that it is placed in the appropriate forum. Threads may be moved without notice by IIDB Staff.

If the nature of the support you are seeking involves any mental health issues, please be aware that IIDB does not offer professional support. We encourage users to seek professional advice.

Users may wish to participate in support threads and we ask that any participation is done with care, both for the person or persons seeking support, and for oneself.

Any posts which IIDB Staff decide may be counter productive to the support sought, will be moved or removed accordingly. A warning or infraction may be issued.

IIDB Staff may decide to lock support threads without consultation.

IIDB is sympathetic to any user in need, however any suicide potential threads will be locked and the user will be directed to the Suicide Threads Resource (http://iidb.infidels.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=246471) page.

Disclaimer
