I'm currently reading this site Flavius Josephus's Home Page (http://members.aol.com/FLJOSEPHUS/home.htm). So far it looks interesting. Just a question if anybody has ever came across this site and have any comments of their own of this.

That site has some good resources. The author is a well educated amateur, and has some ideas on mathematical proof that I tend to disagree with.
If you are interested in Josephus, the best source is Steve Mason's Josephus and the New Testament (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/156563795X). It is scholarly but very readable.
Peter Kirby has a page on Josephus (http://www.earlyjewishwritings.com/josephus.html) in his www.earlyjewishwritings.com with material and links.

I have a wintertime project, www.josephus-pursuit.com
I am an amateur, have no credentials, you should not read me, so don't do it. I have the website and intend to add to it. I have a job, I do not need to write here. I am an ATHEIST!
Josephus teaches you how to tell fibs. He lays it all out. To those who want to learn (eat meat) and those who want to believe (drink milk). This forum is a "fundie" forum. The boss is the ultimate "fundie", I won't tell you his name but his initials are carried over.

You have to learn the language. The Scriptures were written for two audiences, those with intimate knowledge (collectors) and those with belief (sponsors).
If you believe in the hereafter then you have everlasting life. If you have the knowledge that death is final then you are already dead. Those 185,000 Assyrians were already dead.
Flavius Josephus is teaching in his writings and his style eluded the mischievious editors (for the most part) because what he teaches went right over their heads!

Perhaps it was the non-compatible species giving birth that flew over their heads? Let's spit on it, and shake.
