I thought this would be the most appropriate place, though if I'm wrong, mods please move it.
Light at the end of the tunnel. (http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/package.jsp?name=fte/notbelieveingod/notbelieveingod&floc=wn-ns).

According to this, 10% of all Protestants, 21% of all Catholics, and 50+% of all Jews do not believe in God.

It's almost enough to bring a tear to an Infidel's eye. Also interesting:

66% of Americans are sure there is a God, and 13% believe but aren't sure. The remaining are split 12% and 9%, doubt-deny. I smiled reading that.

Just FYI.

A BBC servey also showed that a proportion of atheists prayed, guess these surveys don't have a sit on the fence option...

The problem with "prayer" is the implication that it's to a higher diety(s). Atheists/agnostics dream, wish, have hope...I suspect the atheists who said that they pray are just picking that word for lack of a better, more non-secular one.

believe but aren't sure Funny the things we pass off for "beliefs" when it's all based on utter nonsense. How can you believe in something but not be sure at the same time? That's not belief, that's suspicion!
