I, Clark Adams, Public Relations Director of II, am one of the speakers at the Atheist Alliance conference. I am scheduled to speak Saturday afternoon (just moved from Saturday morning). My topic is "The Increase of Atheism and Religious Satire in Popular Media: A Multimedia Presentation". A lot of input for this presentation was gotten from the Media and Popular Culture forum here at IIDB.

THOUGHTfully Yours,
Clark

This is nice! We are in the middle of a drought. We need every drop of moisture we can get.

You are going to be in the hotel all weekend any way.

I think Dawn and I will attend the Saturday evening festivities. We are too cheap to pay the $175 a person fee for the weekend.

I will track you down and we can have some bheers in the bar.

Another announcement, hot off the presses:

Roy Moore, the Alabama judge of "10 commandments rock" fame, is going to be in Denver on Thursday, April 8, bringing his unique brand of fundamentalist
stupidity to town. He will be participating in a rally at the Capitol at noon.
Anyone who wants to come by and join a small spontaneous counter-demonstration on the street is welcome. Bring along any signs you might have.

scigirlHmm ... let's see it's almost 5pm ET now (3pm in CO) ... I don't think I'll be able to make it. :(

It'd be cool to see Brian Greene. I just recently got around to watching my tape of the show that aired on PBS several months ago. Cool stuff! Is he some sort of freethinker too?

Ah well, have fun you all.
