I have already challenged Prometheus_fr to a debate, which he has accepted, though there are one or two issues left to hammer out. I am wondering if it is acceptable to challenge another person to a different formal debate that would begin only after completion of my debate with Prometheus_fr, which should be late summer (at most).

Would this be allowable under this forum's rules and protocols?

Thank you in advance for your response.

We don't have any problem with this. You're welcome to make other formal debate proposals and set up their parameters with another opponent, but you can only participate in one formal debate at a time.
