I would like to debate Jesus' prophecy concerning his return. The topic for the debate would be "Resolved: Jesus was wrong concerning the timing of his second coming." I will be arguing the affirmative, and my opponent will take the negative.

Greetings!
I have been conversing with Jason Gastrich through email and he has shown that he would like to debate me, Jon Promnitz, on the predictions of Jesus and his disciples pertaining to an early return. I asked if he would like to debate you, being that have posted this proposal back on June 16, but he didn't seem interested.
It appears that unless we want duplicate debates, that you will either have to challenge him directly by emailing him [email removed] or by withdrawling this proposal for now. I apologize for requesting you to do this. Unfortunately, it is the only option Jason has left for me.
If you convice Jason to debate you, I have a couple good articles that may assist you. If for whatever reason, I am left to debate Jason, I would request that you send links of any articles or resources to jonrp05@yahoo.com.
Also, Jason has made it clear that he WILL NOT debate until I produce conclusive proof that masses of people are interested. I'm currently spreading the word on this and other forums, but your help (or anyone reading this) would be greatly appreciated. You could then email to me the responses of those that are interested.
This second coming topic alone, in my opion, is one of the strongest (if not the strongest) case against the Bible, especially the New Testament. I will feel honored if I get to show one of the main reasons I am no longer a Christian.
Thank you,
Jon Promnitz :)

Well I've had little luck finding an opponent to debate on this subject after quite some time, and I really have no desire to try and convice someone to debate me who has already decided against it. Therefore, I will withdraw my proposal and allow you to debate him on this subect.
I will send you as much information on the topic as I have, and I would be happy to help you with any questions you have relating to the debate.
However, since this is a subject that I have been actively researching for some time now I would be grateful if you could send whatever information on the subject you have to me atdmjordan@gmail.com.
Thanks for your reply, and good luck on your debate.
